Lake Union Crew prides itself in the maintenance of its existing equipment as well as the acquisition of new boats. Our 3 boatbays are home to over 50 boats, including 4 Empacher eights, and 2 fours, and we’ve recently added a Hudson quad, and 3 Hudson pairs.

Lake Union Crew has rack space for rent for those members who own their own singles. Contact us for space availability.

Our workout facilities include 17 Concept 2 ergometers, free weights, cable machines, leg press, squat rack and 12 physioballs. The gym has CD, DVD, and digital cable to watch while you work out and a full men’s and women’s locker room with a total of 9 showers and 120 lockers.

One of only three on the west coast, our 16-seat indoor rowing tank is perfect for all weather training, warm-up, and individualized coaching. 30 foot mirrors on each side of the tank room allow each rower to see and assess his or her body movement in comparison with others. Coaches at Lake Union Crew use one of 5 wakeless launches with Honda four stroke motors. Each launch is equipped with life vests and other gear to ensure the safety of each rower.

When we travel to regattas, either locally or across the country, we load our boats onto our own custom trailer. We also rent trailer space to boats from other clubs. To reserve trailer space, please contact us.

Lake Union Crew’s facilities are available for rental by the hour, day or week for special occasions and events. We offer customized corporate experiences through our Seattle Team Building Institute and other rowing experiences to meet your needs. Our entire club is housed on two specially constructed barges; the M/V Inspiration and the M/V Unity; each one a Coast Guard certified vessel able to motor under its own power; allowing us to take our boats and equipment anywhere on inland waters!
