LUC & HNA 2007 Erg/Tank Fundraiser
Remember - this is a secret from Rome - thanks for your help in keeping it that way!
What We're Funding
The fundraiser goal is to raise $19,000. $14,000 will come from direct donations and approximately $5,000 should come from the sale of existing ergs. The money raised will fund the following:

- Mail to Ann Wunderlin, 2061 Minor Ave E, Seattle WA 98102 OR
- Hand directly to Caitlin, Thom or Ann at the front counter, preferably when Rome's not nearby :)

You can use PayPal to make either credit card or cash donations. It's easy to do, even if you're not a PayPal member. (Note - PayPal deducts a 2.9% fee)
PayPal Members
- Go to www.paypal.com
- Click on the Send Money tab
- Follow the instructions to send your contribution to ergsandtank@lakeunioncrew.com
Non-PayPal Members
- Not a problem - just send an email to ergsandtank@lakeunioncrew.com indicating the amount you'd like to donate.
- You will receive a 'Money Request' email from ergsandtank@lakeunioncrew.com for the donation amount you specified. At the bottom of the email you'll see a link entitled "Click here to pay instantly with PayPal!" Click on the link and just follow the prompts.

Donation Incentives
Challenge Donation!
Three anonymous donors has offered to match 10 donations of at least $100, up to $1,000 total, or $3,000 for all three donors. Of course you can donate more, but the first $100 of your donation will be matched. Donations must be received by July 21 put the donors' money in the pot.
Name an Erg
Much like we do with boats, you can name one of the new ergs! Donate $250 and start dreaming of the (children-friendly) name you'll give one of the new ergs. There are only 16 naming opportunities (14 new Model D ergs and 2 existing Model D ergs) so don't wait! Write to ergsandtank@lakeunioncrew.com to reserve your erg name today. Update - as of 7/12/2007, all erg naming rights have been spoken for
Name a Tank Seat
The tank contains 16 seats awaiting your commemoration. A $200 donation earns this reward.
Organize Your Mini-Drive
Perhaps you'd like to rally some of your teammates for an erg-a-thon or some other kind of crazy fun. Concept II has offered some swag to help with such an effort (chapsticks, stickers, keychains, and posters) so if you decide to go this route, write to ergsandtank@lakeunioncrew.com for details and assistance.
Purchase An Existing Erg
It is likely that most and perhaps all of the Model C Ergs will be available for sale once the new ergs arrive. More information will be available soon about this option - check the FAQ page. In the meantime if you have questions please send write to ergsandtank@lakeunioncrew.com. The current market value for a Model C ergs is about $400 - $500.
