Why Are We Raising This Money?

In short, the ergs are in need of upgrading and the tank could be a world-class training tool were it retrofitted. As we approach our 10 year anniversary and reflect on the thousands of people served and the personal and team successes realized, it is an excellent time and opportunity to reach out to the membership and LUC/HNA friends and supporters in this effort.

From the beginning, Lake Union Crew has fostered teamwork through personal discovery and individual contributions. To commemorate this community of inspiration and perpetuate its success, we're giving back to Rome, and to each and every member of the LUC/HNA family.

For 10 years, the ergs and tank have served virtually every member of LUC and HNA. Incrementally, most other equipment has been replaced, but not the ergs or tank components. Upgrading these vital learning and training tools will help LUC and HNA rowers keep their competitive edge as we usher in the new decade at LUC.
