Our world class facilities

Our Members enjoy the very best facilities; from highly skilled coaches, gym equipment, and indoor rowing spaces to men's and women's changing rooms with private shower stalls and lockers.  We have Concept2 ergometers, free-weights, a Precor elliptical, cable weights, leg press, squat rack and physio-balls. The gym also has CD, DVD, and iPod compatibility. If you really have to watch TV while you work out, we also have digital cable.

Race shells and indoor rowing tank

The boat bays are home to over 70 shells designed for different skill levels, including Empachers, Resolutes and Hudsons.

For on-water coaching our wakeless launches are equipped with life vests and safety equipment. We run a rigorous maintenance program, upgrading and purchasing new equipment as necessary.

Unique to the Pacific Northwest is our 16-seat indoor powered-water rowing tank, perfect for all weather training, warm-up, and individual coaching. Mirrors run the full length of the tank to allow each rower to assess his or her body movement visually and make corrections to rowing technique.

Trailer & rack space for rental

A custom LUC trailer transports all our valuable equipment to regattas.  We also rent trailer space for travelling regattas and rack space at the boathouse to individuals with private shells. Contact us for more information.

Lake Union Crew's unique spaces are also available for weddings and special events as well as business meetings.
