Tail of the Lake Regatta
October 7, 2007
2007 marks the 13th running of the Tail of the Lake Regatta, sponsored by Holy Names Academy and Lake Union Crew.
Tail of the Lake is the first Seattle area head race of the fall rowing season. Held on beautiful Lake Union in downtown Seattle, the city skyline provides the backdrop for the 4K course. From the vantage point of Gas Works Park at the north end of Lake Union, racers remain in view of spectators from start to finish - an uncommon occurrence in head racing - making this regatta fun for fans and rowers alike!
The regatta is comprised of 3 flights and offers categories for lightweight, junior, open, and masters rowers. The entry deadline is Monday, October 1, 2007. Late entries are welcome with a surcharge.
Download the regatta General Info Packet for Entry Form for more regatta details. You can also download the waiver form here. (Please note: waivers can be turned in on race day.)
